Things were "happenin" this past Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Hilton Hotel for Connecticut Fashion Week 2013 by Longe Magazine. My friend modeled for this event, so when an invite was extended to me I excitedly accepted! This was my first fashion show EVER so I had high expectations.
Blazer-Ann Taylor. Dress & Necklace- H&M. Camo heels- Zara. My all-weather-everyday-on-the-beaten-trail-bag- Pour la victoire.
Welp, let's see... I'm no fashion mogul, but I know a well executed event when I see one, and I must say I have great taste. The event was ambitiously planned, but with the MANY designers and RANDOM music performances, 2 hours in, I tapped out! The show seemed to run ad hoc. I was looking at different designs unaware of the designer. I can't remember the names of the music artist... ughh I won't ramble.
On a positive note the show opened with designs from high school students. I can appreciate their hard work, c'mon the children are the future. Great Venue.Decent Crowd. I appreciated the VARIETY and diversity of the models.
I laughed.
I snapped away with my iPhone.
